We are delighted to announce the launch of a new website for Chris Dyson Architects, an award-winning architecture practice renowned for projects such as the residential conversion of a Cotswolds gasworks, the new café at Crystal Palace Park, and the restoration of Grade II listed buildings at Hyde Park Corner.

To highlight CDA’s stunning project photography, we enhanced their existing colour palette with warm, earthy tones that reflect their passion for materiality. We also introduced a new set of web typefaces inspired by their commitment to conservation and meticulous attention to detail.

Understanding that web users often leave a site if it takes more than two seconds to load, we streamlined the website’s code to eliminate unnecessary bulk. This optimisation ensures that high-resolution images load swiftly, providing a seamless user experience.

We provided the CDA team with comprehensive training on the Content Management System (CMS), including a straightforward manual and virtual sessions, enabling them to effortlessly update projects and publish news stories, ensuring the website remains current and engaging. There is also support for the inclusion of podcasts, videos, statistics, charts and more, offering users a rich and informative experience

“SED have produced a wonderful user friendly and dynamic new platform for our website. Simple to update and beautifully crafted digital architecture, I highly recommend the team to other companies and individuals, they are a pleasure to work with.”
